Winter quarters

Well, here it is, November already. Thank all the little weather monkeys that it has been mild. Sure, we had that really chill fortnight in early October. But today was beautiful! I have been slowly preparing my work space for the winter months. I really hate the idea of having to back down my painting because of something as mundane as cold weather. So, the windows have been winterized and so has the loading bay door. The only thing left to do was to put up the tent…

There ya go. A nifty little space, easier to keep warm than 3000 sq ft of not-so-airtight warehouse space. The lan this year is to use the tent for an easal, table for a palette and brushes and a chair. Everything else will take place outside the tent. Today, I started prepping canvasses with the plan of having at least a full dozen ready to go. Here’s a little image of the interior…
