Cancer is taking a toll on my family. My Mum was diagnosed with throat cancer in August 2009. She is fragile in a lot of ways, but is fighting on none the less. Her cancer is small cell and slow growing. She is on weekly chemotherapy treatments, and will be for the rest of her life.
My Dad (oh Dad) was taken very quickly. He died five short days after his official diagnosis. He had large cell cancer that burned through his body very quickly.
